Employbridge, an organization that helps to match companies with potential employees, was welcomed to its new Oxford location at 30 Plaza Lane with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, December 5.
“We’re really excited to be here in Oxford,” said Employbridge market vice president Daina Bell. “We were wanting to open some more offices in the Alabama territory, and were fortunate to be able to come here to this awesome town. We are here to put people back to work. There are so many industries here for which we can help find employees and really make a difference and be a part of the community.”
Historic Main Street Oxford director Hunter Gentry, representing Mayor Alton Craft, gave the official welcome for the city and offered any assistance the city can provide to the new business.
Employbridge is open on weekdays from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and can be reached by phone at 256-866-8975. The website is www.employebridge.com.
