Air Supply

Doors Open: 6:15pm

Event Starts: 7:00pm

The 1975 meeting of Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock began a friendship and one of pop music’s best-selling groups whose name came from a dream Graham had – a billboard surrounded by flashing lights and the words, Air Supply, in the center. Their first hit, “Love and Other Bruises,” opened the door to perform with Rod Stewart in 1977. They struck gold with the 1980 song of the year “Lost In Love,” then quickly topped the worldwide charts once again with “All Out Of Love,” beginning a run of seven, consecutive Top Five singles. Their first four albums sold more than 20 million copies. The trademark sound of Russell Hitchcock’s soaring tenor voice and Graham Russell’s simple, but majestic compositions created a unique sound which continues 49 years later and will bring Air Supply to the OPAC billboard for the second time since their first Oxford performance in 2019. Purchase tickets to this show online at: www.oxfordpac.org

KC & The Sunshine Band

Doors Open: 6:30pm

Event Starts: 7:00pm

Things have changed drastically since 1975. One thing hasn’t changed, though. The infectious, feel-good happy music of KC and the Sunshine Band. Their 1975 album, “KC & The Sunshine Band,” went triple platinum, and contained the #1 hits, “Get Down Tonight,” “That’s The Way (I Like It),” “Boogie Shoes,” and “Rock Your Baby.” KC & The Sunshine Band became the first act to score four #1 pop singles in one 12-month period since the Beatles in 1964. KC’s third album, “Part 3” released in 1976, also went triple platinum and contained the #1 hit singles, “I’m Your Boogie Man,” “Shake Your Booty,” and “Keep It Comin’ Love.” KC and the Sunshine Band have been entertaining audiences around the world for over 37 years, sold in excess of 100 million records, and that’s the way OPAC audiences will like it! UH- HUH! UH-HUH! Purchase tickets to this show online at: www.oxfordpac.org
